I am looking for guidance related to HEM storage. I have only found recommendations that HEM should not be kept (stored) for later use if the amount made is not entirely used - with the purpose of preventing spoilage or contamination that could harm an already vulnerable patient. In an effort to reduce waste (without risk to the patient) is it possible to store HEM with refrigeration? If so, for how long and at what temperature?
