We are looking for: A NUTRITION AND HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER Country: Sierra Leone, based in Freetown Length of Contract: 11 months, starting from the 25th of August 2014 General objective: Under the supervision of the field coordinator, you will be responsible to contribute to the establishment and monitoring of nutrition and health programmes in partnership with governmental and non-governmental agencies. Responsibilities: More specially, you will be in charge to: • Contribute to the definition and implementation of ACF policies, positioning and strategies of Health and Nutrition Department in the mission • Contribute to the identification of needs and the definition and formulation of Nut projects • Ensure project implementation, monitoring and reporting • Contribute to evaluation, accountability and impact measurement of her project • Ensure local ACF representation and coordination in her area of intervention and develop local partnership • Manage, supervise and train the team • Contribute to capitalization and technical development in his/her sector Qualification and previous experience: You hold a master degree in nutrition, nursing or medical doctor, with a previous field eexperience in nutritionist position, with at least one proven CMAM project management experience. You have a successful experience in working with government institutions, such as ministry of health. Excellent communication and representative skills and team management are compulsory. A first experience with ACF will be a plus. Experiences in Western Africa will be an asset. Your English is professional. Status: Volunteer status (VSI) for applicants: - with less than 5 years of work experiences and less than 12 months of humanitarian experience in expatriation with NGO - or with more than 5 years of work experiences but less than 10 years of work experiences and less than 6 months of humanitarian experience in expatriation with NGO: - Fixed-term contract of 1 year, renewable - All expenses paid on the field: o Support to the R & R costs : 110€/month average o Transportation costs to and from the mission : 460€/ month average, o Collective or individual accommodation depending on position : 700€/month average o Food and hygiene expenses (living allowance) : 354€ /month directly paid on the field o Per Diem : 202€ /month directly paid on the field - €838 of indemnities per month on your bank account - Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution - Acquisition of 2.5 days of paid leaves per entirely worked month - Recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission + break allowances - Pre departure training, at the HQ in Paris Salaried status for applicant with the profile required: Total average yearly gross income: from 42245€ to 47120€ - All expenses paid on the field: o Support to the R & R costs : 110€/month average o Transportation costs to and from the mission : 460€/ month average, o Collective or individual accommodation depending on position : 700€/month average o Food and hygiene expenses (living allowance) : 354€ /month directly paid on the field o Per Diem : 202€ /month directly paid on the field - Gross monthly salary ranging from €1600 to €1975 (13rd month included), depending on relevant experience - Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution - 25 days of annual paid leaves - 20 days of extra leaves per year (taken as recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission) + break allowances - Pre departure training, at the HQ in Paris Motivating Job Prospects in the medium and long term To apply, please visit our website: www.actioncontrelafaim.org/en/content/nutrition-and-health-program-manager-1
