We are looking for: A MEDICAL DOCTOR Country: Myanmar, based in Maungdaw District Length of Contract: 12 months starting from the 01st of October 2014 General objective: Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator, you are responsible to supervise medical activities in nutrition centers to improve the care of beneficiaries in charge in the Stabilization Centers and in the Out Therapeutic Patient and to participate in the capacity building of the ACF and MoH team, especially the medical side. Responsibilities: More precisally, you will be in charge to: • Participate in the development and supervision of the activities in the framework of nutrition program, with a specific focus on the medical elements. • Participate in the management of the medical team (Doctor, Head of Nurse and Nurse) • Technical support and capacity building of the medical team • Participate at the external coordination and representation activities • Participate in internal coordination Qualification and previous experience: You hold a medical doctor degree and have occupied a similar position during at least 2 years, with demonstrated CMAM experience. A previous experience in ethnic conflict context is highly desirable. Recognized for your relational and communicational skills, you have developed strong training and team supervision capacities. Ability to work in a stressful context is mandatory Your English is professional. A first experience with ACF will be an asset. Status: Volunteer status (VSI) for applicants: - with less than 5 years of work experiences and less than 12 months of humanitarian experience in expatriation with NGO - or with more than 5 years of work experiences but less than 10 years of work experiences and less than 6 months of humanitarian experience in expatriation with NGO: - Fixed-term contract of 1 year, renewable - All expenses paid on the field: o Support to the R & R costs : 110€/month average o Transportation costs to and from the mission : 460€/ month average, o Collective or individual accommodation depending on position : 700€/month average o Food and hygiene expenses (living allowance) : 292 euros /month directly paid on the field o Per Diem : 198 euros /month directly paid on the field - €838 of indemnities per month on your bank account - Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution - Acquisition of 2.5 days of paid leaves per entirely worked month - Recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission + break allowances - Pre departure training, at the HQ in Paris Salaried status for applicant with the profile required: Total average yearly gross income: from 42245€ to 47120€ - All expenses paid on the field: o Support to the R & R costs : 110€/month average o Transportation costs to and from the mission : 460€/ month average, o Collective or individual accommodation depending on position : 700€/month average o Food and hygiene expenses (living allowance) : 292 euros /month directly paid on the field o Per Diem : 198 euros /month directly paid on the field - Gross monthly salary ranging from €1600 to €1975 (13rd month included), depending on relevant experience - Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution - 25 days of annual paid leaves - 20 days of extra leaves per year (taken as recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission) + break allowances - Pre departure training, at the HQ in Paris Motivating Job Prospects in the medium and long term To apply, please visit our website: http://www.actioncontrelafaim.org/en/content/medical-doctor
