Death rate in SC

If you can post to this forum then you can look up SPHERE standards. Standards usually apply to an entire treatment episode which will usually be SC + OTP for a complicated SAM case. Mortality can be high in SC because (1) this delivery mode is reserved for complicated SAM cases, and (2) the high risk of nosocomial infections in SCs. Mortality will be pretty much as expected a high dependency paediatric unit.
