What are the critical and sustainable nutrition interventions needed to employed to curb malnutrition and also promote optimal nutrition in a program area or cluster? Any practical examples are welcome!

According to the Lancet child survival series publications, there are evidence based nutrition interventions. These are classified into two groups; nutrition specific and nutrition sensitive interventions. The specific nutrition interventions are mainly focused on direct causes of malnutrition whereas nutrition sensitive are focused on underline causes. You can access these in detail from SUN movement website (http://scalingupnutrition.org/) . You can also access the Lancet child survival series publications through the following link http://www.who.int/maternal_child_adolescent/documents/lancet_child_survival/en/
