We are recruiting for Head of Hunger Reduction & Livelihoods (12 months maternity cover).

We are looking for an international development professional with strong leadership and a clear track record of achievement. The successful candidate will have excellent team management skills, strategic thinking capability and highly developed influencing and communication skills to ensure we design and support the delivery of high quality programmes. They should have experience in nutrition, and/or food security and/or poverty reduction programming and approaches.

The role will motivate and lead a team that provides strategic thematic and technical support to country offices and Members ensuring that we develop and deliver world-class programmes at scale with clear evidence and impact. The role builds Save the Children’s influence and brand profile supporting country offices to share learning, building the evidence base for national and international influencing on what works, and to hold governments and other actors accountable for their obligations.
