Hi, Which criteria of malnutrition can we use for pygmy population? MUAC and oedema? thanks Nathalie

Hi Nathalie, It's funny, we are just analysing data from RDC were we are looking into that.... First preliminary analysis and litterature review make us think Oedema & MUAC would be more adapted (but MUAC might also overestimate a little bit). I will let you know when we completed all the analyis. There is also an interesting article published this year on this subject: "Growth pattern from birth to adulthood in African pygmies of known age" Fernando V.
