Dear colleagues. We are trying to put together a food basket/voucher distribution program for our areas of intervention in the Syria crisis, and will include Micronutrient Powder (MNP) from the kind of sprinkles.
Unfortunately, a very promising product as TopNutri from Compact is not available anymore, and I was wondering if anyone could help with suggestions of trust worthy suppliers some of you may be working with. It should ideally be a MNP that can be used for all age ranges and has proven results of effectiveness in preventing Micronutrient deficiencies in populations receiving food aid, based in WHO's recommendations: http://www.who.int/nutrition/publications/micronutrients/WHO_WFP_UNICEFstatement.pdf?ua=1
Also, has anyone used EnovMum from Nutriset?. It seems well balanced but only for Pregnant and lactating women.
If possible, anyone having recorded information on the effectiveness and appropriateness of use by the beneficiaries of this kind of supplements is welcome to support.
Thanks in advance to all of you.
