Hello en-net,

As part of a scoping review on managing growth failure in infants less than 6 months, we are seeking to summarise any research or documented experience (ideally with infant outcomes) of using RUTF or early complementary foods to manage growth failure (i.e wasting, underweight) in infants under six months of age.

We recognise that this does sometimes occur, especially towards the older end of this category (i.e. >4 months) but there is not much evidence about its effectiveness/ineffectiveness.

If you have anything you would be willing to share with ENN as part of our internal scoping review with WHO, please send it to me at natasha@ennonline.net

Many thanks in advance,

Tash
