I am looking for ideas to apply for a thesis on the application of ICT in the management of malnutrition (or other nutritional intervention) in an emergency context.

What are the current grey areas and challenges of using ICTs in the fight against malnutrition in emergency contexts in developing countries? Could anyone help?

It would be much better to include spatial analysis in your study.

You can look at spatial nutritional epidemiology. Current studies report more on only prevalence and trends of malnutrition. Less is than on mapping prevalence of malnutrition and also effectiveness of nutritional interventions with ICT tools like GIS for spatial malnutrition distributions or spatial progress and effectiveness of nutrition interventions in developing countries

Thank you
