How is 3rrd percentile related to z-score??in other words ,is 3rd percentile equivalent of 70% w/h???

I assume this is about reference populations. The 3rd percentile is related to the z-score ... it is about -1.9 z. It is less strongly related to the % median since that does not account for variability. 70% median is well below the 1st percentile and below -3 z.
