Hi Colleagues Can anybody explain that what percentage of children (6-35months) & PLW we target for BSFP during hunger gap? Secondly, it has been observed that hunger gap starts almost the same time each year in February/March in the areas of interventions and last until July/August. What is the good time to start BSFP? Mostly it has been done in April - September (for 6 months) but personally I am of the opinion to start it early as the main aim to prevent children and PLW from becoming malnourish. What do you suggest on the basis of your experience and knowledge? Finally is there any study/evaluation done to see the effectiveness/impact of BSFP? Thanks
