I am a Public Health and Nutrition specialist with more than 7 years of experience in Health, nutrition, WASH, and Social Protection programming. I worked closely with and travelled to 2 countries in Africa for supporting the implementation of Nutrition Programs focusing more on the integration of Positive Deviance Hearth (PDH) and Community Management of acute malnutrition (CMAM) to alleviate the burden malnutrition. In my carrier, I focuses on building experience and expertise on integrated multi-sectoral approaches, such as health & nutrition with agriculture and livelihood; early childhood development. I am with a broad range of experience in developmental and emergency health and nutrition projects/programs, strategy and sectoral guidance development. I worked with diverse teams in resource mobilization, program/projects design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. I am experienced in staff management, mentorship and capacity building in the past 8 years. I worked in project management, multi-sector programs design and technical support, establishing partnership and networking with major health and nutrition national, regional organizations and donors. I actively takes part in rolling out project models and supported programs to ensure quality and global standards during implementation. He made major contribution in institutionalization of emergency nutrition program (CMAM and IYCF in emergency) and rapid assessment and survey (coverage and SMART) across the WV program in Burundi. I provided technical leadership for program in fragile and developmental contexts. I actively engaged in documenting promising practices, operational researches and creating organizational visibility through dissemination of WV work in regional and global forums.

I have ability to work with different sectors and contexts and be able to delivery results in short period of time. I supported Burundi in proposal/concept development, design and implement different donor funded projects including, ECHO, USAID, AusAid, UNICEF, UNOCHA, WFP, European Commission, GoG, BMZ, World Bank and OFDA. He has

solid experience in managing Multi sectoral Projects –MCHN Project, Maternal Child Nutrition Enhancement Projects, Health, Nutrition and HIV AIDS Projects funded by the above Donors and implemented in 18 Area Programs.

I have solid in Strategic documents and Policy elaboration: Burundi National CMAM Protocol, Micronutrient Powders Use guidelines, IYCF orientation strategic document, Burundi Food Fortification strategic guidelines and Policy on Food fortification. Calixte has solid experience in MIRA, LQAS, RNA and VAM.

I received recognitions from the organization in the areas of integration of Grants and sponsorship projects to achieve the desired Goal. He also received award for getting the outstanding performance in Project Audit funded by Australian Aid. He has been also recognized as the best Leader of Care Group Model implementation in World Vision International Burundi operational Areas.

I holds a Master of Food Studies degree with First Class -Honors from Institute Superiors de Technologies(IST) -Burkina Faso and a Master of Social Work and Community Development in Kampala University . I am dealing with my PhD Studies in Human Nutrition and Dietetics which will be ended in 2019.
