I am a Senior Projects Manager with BBC Media Action in Nigeria, overseeing Health Communication Projects implemented in Nigeria. Prior to this I was a Health Advisor with BBC Media Action, supporting various health projects across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. My background is in programme support and management for a variety of NGOs, with a broad focus on sexual and reproductive health, HIV and maternal, neonatal and child health. I am currently based in London but have lived and worked in Ghana for several years, and provided in country support to teams in South Sudan, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, India and Nepal. Our programmes are focussed on supporting the hardest-to-reach populations - areas that may not otherwise have access to reliable health information and services. We currently have a number of programmes with queries around maternal and child nutrition, breastfeeding, and safe alternatives to breast milk when women cannot breastfeed that do not rely on formula. Looking forward to discussing more.
