In her role at Nutrition International, Marion supports and provides strategic direction to MI’s programs that advocate, build capacity, and generate evidence for improving adolescent girls’ and women’s health and nutrition.
Marion leads the design, introduction, scale-up and evaluation of adolescent nutrition interventions – a growing area of interest and investment globally.
She works with national governments and partners to strengthen access to and delivery platforms for adolescent and women’s nutrition interventions, including weekly iron folic acid supplementation to prevent anemia. Her goal is to support adolescent girls and women to thrive and be valued.
Marion has over 12 years of experience in global public health nutrition program implementation and implementation research and has worked extensively to improve maternal, infant and child nutrition focussing on innovative interventions.

Marion has expertise in adolescent and women’s health and nutrition, program and intervention design and evaluation, behaviour change communication, community and global nutrition, infant and young child
feeding, implementation research, qualitative research and social marketing. Additionally, she contributes to advancing the public knowledge base and global nutrition community evidence base on best practices in micronutrient programs
She brings experience from managing, developing and evaluating interventions and programs for small and large NGOs and research institutes. She has a PhD in Nutrition, a MPH in Global Health and a MSc Nutrition.
