John Nicholson works to effectively identify, package, and share nutrition knowledge and learning with the global nutrition community.

Prior to joining USAID Advancing Nutrition, John led knowledge management efforts for the SPRING project. In that role, he conceived and implemented a diverse portfolio of activities designed to further multi-sectoral nutrition programming, including hosting online and in-person events; producing publications, tools, and videos to capture the project’s experience; launching new and supporting existing online communities of practice (CoP); and sharing monthly summaries of nutrition research, tools, and accomplishments. John also served as an agriculture extension Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia, working with small-scale farmers to improve household food production, income, and nutrition.
