I have been working in Emergency Response nationally and internationally with quite number of INGOs such as Save the children, GOAL, MSF and International Medical Corps since 1993 and provided support to nutrition programming in in Ethiopia, Pakistan, Yemen, South Sudan, Kenya, Nigeria, Mozambique and Iraq. I worked as Nutrition Officer, Field Manager, roving Nutrition program Manager, Nutrition Coordinator, Community Mobilization advisor, CMAM/SBC advisor for International Medical Corps as well as for INGO Consortium for humanitarian and development programs in Africa, Asia and Middle East.

I have a BSc Degree in Disaster Risk Management and Sustainable Development from Bahir-Dar University (Ethiopia) and a Diploma in Fitness and Nutrition from (ICS) Scranton, Pennsylvania (USA). I also holds a certificate on Public Health principles in Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response, Reducing Child Stunting (RCS), Building a Better Response (BBR) and Infant and Young Child Feeding.
