UNICEF have organised a webinar focusing on infant and young child feeding (IYCF) in humanitarian programmes, with an upcoming webinar titled: Supporting the feeding of infants under 6 months in emergencies.

This 90-minute webinar will focus on breastfeeding, as lifesaving, safe and most secured source of nutrition and immunity for infants in humanitarian crises. Discussions will include UNICEF’s new guidance on wet nursing, the careful procurement and use of breast-milk substitutes (BMS), and key programmatic actions to strengthen preparedness and response. Speakers will share insights on feeding non-breastfed infants, supply chain management, and country experiences, followed by an interactive Q&A.
